International Test Methods

The European and Asian markets are increasingly requiring low-emitting products and introducing regulations on product emissions. UL AQS closely follows these developments so that we can help product manufacturers ensure compliance with all global requirements. We are the only emissions testing laboratory in North America that is approved by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) for measuring emissions of both electronics and building products for Blue Angel certification and the Federal Ministry of Health.

UL AQS key tests include German AgBB, German Blue Angel, German DIBt, French VOC labelling regulations, French AFFSET, Finnish M1, German Emicode, Japanese JEITA , and Japanese Eco Mark label, to name a few. In many cases, UL AQS can perform a consolidated test that covers multiple global requirements.
