Clean Room Classification

A clean room environment used in high tech and biotechnology manufacturing, operations or scientific research requires a low level of airborne environmental pollutants, such as dust and chemicals. UL AQS uses specialized chambers and particle monitoring equipment to help product manufacturers demonstrate their products' acceptability for use in clean room environments. Products frequently tested include furniture, flooring, and ceiling systems. UL AQS can conduct testing to qualify products according to the FED-STD-209E and the ISO 14644 classification schemes.
